The Northwest Association of IB World Schools (NWAIBWS) consists of PYP, MYP, CP, and DP member schools from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

As an association we:

• Hold Coordinator's meetings twice a year at varied locations throughout our geographic area.
• Provide assistance and information to schools interested in developing IB programs in the Northwest.
• Provide support to newly authorized schools.
• Maintain a database of authorized, applicant and interested schools in the our service area.
• Inform colleges/universities in our service area about the IB program, specifically in regard to the Diploma program and course recognition/credit.
• Communicate with individual state Departments of Education concerning program recognition, exam fees, and course certification.

In addition, NWAIBWS sponsors annual “Fall Roundtable and Subject Sessions,” offering 4-5 specific subjects/topics in a one-day sessions led by experienced presenters.
