OFFICIAL IB TRAINING INFORMATION
Because the official training is typically 2.5 days, this 2-day training will include a 3 hour homework assignment that must be completed within a week of the conference to receive credit for the official training from IB.

Because the official training is typically 2.5 days, this 2-day training will include a 3 hour homework assignment that must be completed within a week of the conference to receive credit for the official training from IB.
- Registration will close on September 26, 2026.
- We need 7 participants to run a session.
- The cost of the official training is $400. Schools withdrawing participants after September 16, will still be charged $400 as IB will not refund NIBA after that date.
- For planning purposes, the Friday sessions (which are not yet available) will be $150 for a presented session and $100 for a roundtable. These sessions are still in the works, and I will get them out to you as soon as I can.
Registration and Payment Information
- If you are paying RIGHT NOW and with a CREDIT CARD, please find the registration link here.
- Official IB trainings will be Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9-10.
- Because this is a two-day event, please register your staff for the same Official IB training for both Friday and Saturday.
- NIBA sessions and roundtables will be on Friday, October 9.

NIBA Membership Dues
Your annual dues enable our association to plan the fall conference, support scholarships for member schools to connect with the IB World School community, and provide access to the collective knowledge of the Northwest IB Association. Please Pay Dues whether you are coming to the conference or not.
NIBA annual dues are $300.
If you have multiple programs at your site (CP, DP, MYP, PYP), please be sure to register those programs as well. There is an additional NIBA annual fee of $200 for each additional Program.
If you are a Candidate School, dues are $50.

Schedule:
Our conference will be Oct. 8-10, 2026 with the official training happening on Oct. 9-10. The schedule below is at the suggestion of our hosts so that coordinators attending the coordinator meeting on Thursday will also be able to attend official training if they like. The registration and dues covers light breakfast and lunch for the coordinator on Thursday, and light breakfast and lunch for everyone on Friday and Saturday. |
